Mohammed Fiaz has now been formally adopted as the 2009 Council Candidate for Springfield Ward. 

Aged 33 he is a Bank Manager with Barclays where he has worked for the last 6 years. He has a Business Degree from the University of Greenwich and is married with 3 children. 

He has much experience working with the Voluntary Sector locally.  He is one of the Founders of Global Teaching Services, a supplementary school based on Greswolde Road, Sparkhill.

This has operated for the last 7 years. It helps local children aged 8-16 years with their preparation for Key Stages 2 and 3, SATS and studying for their GCSEs.   

Fiaz is also a Governor of Yorkmeade School.
